Biography
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I intended to be.

This is just a section to give you a little information about myself.

I'm a college student, and my major is political science, with a minor in political philosophy. I am hoping to go onto a career in law enforcement, specifically with the FBI. Anyone out there who can assist me with that is more then welcome to email me at any of my email address listed on my front page!

I love Political Science. It is my all time favorite thing in the world, second only to political philosophy!  Mostly I like the arguments and debates, but still, it is incredible fun stuff. I know I am a political science geek, but I love it! I really can't get enough, you should hear dinner conversations at our house! My favorite debates are on capitalism and civil liberties. Feel free to IM me or email me on any of those, they are great fun to discuss.  Some random political facts about myself are that I am a member of the Green Party, a member of the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), and I am a strong supporter of policies that benefit children and the environment, the two areas I feel should be the top concern of the United States, especially in light of the Kyoto Treaty!

Things that I enjoy that are not political science related are hiking, especially check out my gallery section to see photographs from my most recent trip up to Coos County New Hampshire, and soccer. Hiking is fun just because you can explore and see new things, as well as have a very enjoyable time without people bothering you all the time with phones or email or any of a hundred other things. I highly recommend it! Soccer I have always enjoyed cause its a sport for REAL men, unlike football, which is a sport for whimps. All that padding is pathetic, real men only need shin-guards, and even then they chaff at having to wear 'em!  I read a quote from a member of the woman's movement, whose name I've forgotten, but hopefully I will one day find the link, I have changed it slightly to reflect the times: "Anyone who watches three football games in a row should be declared legally dead. Anyone who watches three rerun football shoes from ESPN Classics should not only be declared legally dead, but should be burned and buried at a crossroads." I don't like football in case anyone was wondering.

Fencing, and martial arts in general, are very enjoyable, though many will probably blast me for combing the two. For them I have just a few words, "WHO CARES?!" Yeah I'm opinionated, oh well.  The reason such activities are enjoyable, at least in my book, is because of the fact that they promote a sense of calm and concentration, very relaxing. Physical exercise is, of course, very healthy, and martial arts can direct that exercise very usefully. Not to mention the slight fact that if I can get a job with the Bureau, then knowing something of self defense will be highly useful. The most significant use, and this is something I recommend highly, is the sense of discipline it can instill. Seriously, if you yourself or someone you know has kids who are ADHD or ADD I would highly recommend giving them martial arts and discipline training rather then Prozac, which is a drug not many people know the long term side affects of!  Natural solutions are always better then drugs, that's my opinion.

Well that's all for now, maybe later on I'll write a New York Times Top Ten Autobiography and you can all go out and spend tons of money to read it and make me rich!

Jason!
