So I grew up in this fiery pit full of velociraptor like intellectuals that I actually call friends. Out of the depths of Glen Ellyn was forged the Jeff that you now know as the hyper crazy intensive dude who tries to do everything he can in the realms of creation and leadership, and helping people. Though my optomism has never waivered and I now thoroughly believe in dialogue, I still do like to jump back into the den of velociraptors. See the latest here.
I like discussion, debate, dialogue, and dialectic. I have a shitload of opinions. They have and will change - both myself and others. So it's time to start rocking out - Read it and squak about it - I want to hear your views on my pish posh that I spread here.
Controversial?
So what earns me the title of 'very liberal' that you shake your head at on
Facebook? I know this is a lot of 'I's - but I just might have an opinion or three that you've never heard before and would find to be worthwhile.
I believe in love. I believe in God.
I don't believe in the Bible. And I don't believe in Jesus.
I don't drink. Never have, never will.
Yet I think the drinking age should be 19.
I don't touch drugs or smoke either.
But I'm okay with medical use of pot.
I connect the world... or at least college.
I'm a feminist and an ally - I look for equality and blending of gender roles.
Cultural Pluralism is more than just toleration and acceptance. I'm now strongly anti-chief.
Dogs are soo much cooler than cats. Except smoke jaguars.
That's right, I think humans are better than animals and am not a vegetarian.
I'm pro-choice, but anti-death penalty.
Christianity as an institution is racist.
We ought to reform the romantic world: Everyone should be assertive!
I think the best political system is dynamic democratic socialism.
Consumerism and capitalism suck donkey dick.
I want to redux anarchy and make it work.
I think women should serve in the military.
And I don't see a need for handguns in the hands of civilians.
People are only as busy as their priorities let them be - we make time for what we truly care about.
Premarital sex is fine by me - I don't believe in Virginity.
In fact, I think it is
irresponsible to NOT have sex before marriage .
Take advantage of your youth!
Stem cell research rocks the house.
Republicans (and selfish Libertarians) can kiss my ass.
I believe in technology.
Passive and dishonest people piss me off. Grow some courage and confidence.
I'm addicted to volleyball, rollerblading, and being happy.
