The Christmas Channel at SKY.fm is a seasonal treat honoring the spirit of the holidays.
You will hear Christmas and holiday inspired music from a vast array of artists and composers. Featuring timeless classics from Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra to modern artists such as Amy Grant and Kenny G, the Christmas Channel will brighten up your holidays and put you in the mood even if you are Scrooge himself.
Dial-A-Carol
Snyder’s annual program that occurs during fall semester finals week. People can call in and request a holiday song to be played over the phone or have one sent to someone in the local area.
Snyder Residence Hall will be equipped with three phone lines until midnight on Dec. 16. Requests for songs will be accepted 24 hours a day and carols are delivered between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. each day. All calls must be for the Urbana-Champaign area, as the event does not cover long-distance calls. Callers need to supply the name and phone number of the targeted recipient, as well as the song they wish to be played. Dial-a-Carol can be reached at (217) 332-1882.
